Menge Village served as an inspirational birthplace for our soju. It continues to be an ideal location for producing our premium products. Our identity as a distillery is deeply tied to the village as well as to the regional tradition of making soju.
In spite of its short history, Jinmac soju has been positioned as the best product
in the soju category and has been recognized for winning various international spirits competitions.
We are being recognized!
- Our signature soju, Jinmac 53 has received Double Gold Medal(*) from San Francisco World Spirits Competition (“SFWSC”) 2021 & 2022 and Silver Medal from SFWSC 2023. It also earned Gold Prize from London Spirits Competition (“LSC”) 2022.
- Jinmac 40 has won Double Gold Medal from SFWSC 2024 & 2025 and Gold Medal from SFWSC 2021 & 2022.
- Poet’s Rock has received Double Gold Medal from SFWSC 2022 and Gold Medal from SFWSC 2023 & 2025
- Jinmac Oak has won Gold Medal from SFWSC 2022.
In addition to these generous awards, our Founder and Master Distiller, Sungho Park, had the honor to receive the Presidential Award in 2021, for promoting the local agricultural industry.
